2012 Breast Cancer Walk | Team Francine

We participated as members of Team Francine in the 2012 Breast Cancer Society Empower One, Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at the Phoenix Zoo.

We were celebrating with our conquerors Francine and Mary.  We started early, the day was beautiful, headed for a 105 degrees ... but that is why the event was early :-)  ... only in the low 80s during the event.

We had one member in the 5k and the rest were very competitive in the 1 mile walk.  The 1 mile walkers were a very competitive bunch, I believe we were successful in seeing all of the Zoo animals and secured our last place finish ... ensuring that no other team finished behind us  :-D
